DESIGNED FOR
LEFT-HANDED DIVERS
Named LHD for Left Hand Drive, the new Pelagos for left-handed divers features a winding stem positioned to the left of the case, so that the watch can be worn on the right wrist.
In a nod to its past, the new TUDOR Pelagos evokes the brand’s history of dive watches designed specifically for left-handed professional divers. During the 1970s, the French Navy commissioned bespoke models for it’s left-handed divers.

features HELIUM
ESCAPE
VALVE
The Tudor Pelagos is guaranteed to a depth of 500 metres and is equipped with a helium escape valve, an essential device for preserving the watch during so-called “saturation” dives.
As the helium atom is the smallest gas particle in existence, after a certain amount of time it is able to penetrate the interior of the watch despite its waterproofness. The helium escape valve allows the gas to escape freely from the watch without damaging it, thus protecting it from overpressure.

AUTO-ADJUSTABLE
BUCKLE
The Pelagos stands out with its titanium bracelet featuring a steel folding clasp with a unique auto-adjustable spring mechanism developed and patented by TUDOR.
This technical system allows the bracelet to be adjusted during the dive, contracting when the combination is compressed at greater depths, and expanding when the pressure decreases again during the diver’s return to the surface. An additional rubber strap is also provided, equipped with an extension system that makes it easily adjustable for all diving conditions.
THE TUDOR
MANUFACTURE CALIBRE
MT5612-LHD
The Pelagos LHD is powered with a variant of the TUDOR Manufacture Calibre MT5612 movement. A high-performance calibre of superb precision and proven robustness, it offers a 70-hour power reserve, meaning that the wearer can, for example, take off the watch on Friday evening and put it on again on Monday morning without having to rewind it.
Beating to a frequency of 28,800 beats/hour or 4 Hz, it is regulated by a variable inertia oscillator with a silicon balance spring and held in place by a traversing bridge, a guarantee of its robustness. Furthermore, it is certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) in positions in which it is worn with the winding stem on the left.
