TUDOR revisits the feminine Clair de Rose line in a refined and timeless manner. Introduced at Baselworld 2017, the new models are available exclusively in steel with mechanical movements.
A feminine watch with a style that is at once delicate and bold, the TUDOR Clair de Rose pays tribute to a variety of the brand’s historic timepieces. Available in three sizes, 26, 30 and 34 millimetres in diameter, it presents opaline dials with delicate decorations in relief, punctuated with blue lacquered Roman numerals or diamonds. Clair de Rose is fitted with a self-winding movement complete with date function.
One of the most recognisable features of the Clair de Rose is its striking winding crown, adorned with a precious spinel cabochon. The crown is set against a robust case, waterproof to a depth 100 metres (330 ft) and produced in Switzerland from a block of 316L stainless steel.
All Clair de Rose models come with a steel bracelet composed of small “rice grain” links for unrivalled suppleness and shine. The bracelet includes a folding clasp and safety catch.
This feminine watch has a long history at TUDOR and features a style that is at once delicate and bold. The Clair de Rose borrows freely from this heritage and includes aesthetic references to such models as the Princess, Royal, Glamour and Miss Tudor. It was from the latter collection that one of the most recognisable Clair de Rose elements was taken: the winding crown adorned with a precious spinel cabochon.
