Shanghai is a city in constant motion. From the historic Bund to the skyscrapers along the Huangpu River, its streets bring together heritage, ambition and modern energy.

On Sunday, 6 December 2026, the Shanghai Marathon will transform that energy into a 42.195-kilometre test of endurance. A World Athletics Platinum Label event, the race demands discipline, preparation and daringness from every runner who takes on its course.

Reaching the start line takes commitment. Reaching the finish requires something more.
The marathon is measured in hours, minutes and seconds, but the journey begins long before race day: in early mornings, late nights and thousands of kilometres completed in training. Every step is part of the achievement.

That is why TUDOR is proud to become the Official Timekeeper of the 2026 Shanghai Marathon.

A mechanical Swiss sports watch is not simply about measuring time on the road. It is about marking the moments that matter: the victory, the finish, the personal best and the commitment behind them.
A TUDOR represents the unbreakable spirit required to challenge limits and keep moving forward. For the runners of the Shanghai Marathon, it becomes a lasting symbol of everything it took to reach the finish line.

As the event celebrates its 30th anniversary, the Shanghai Marathon continues to establish itself among the world’s leading city marathons. For the runners taking on the 2026 race, the next chapter begins now. Among them will be Miao Yao , a tribalizing force from China racing on her home turf for once. Good luck!

To all the runners, congratulations on making it this far.

Now the real race begins — and TUDOR will be there.
