The New Pelagos FXD Chrono “Yellow” Has Dropped !

The 300-piece Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono “Yellow” honors the legacy Tudor ambassador Fabian Cancellara and his journey to the pinnacle of cycling both as a rider and now as a team owner.

2016 was the last year that Fabian Cancellara competed in France. Now in 2025, he’s returning to the absolute pinnacle of professional cycling not as a rider—but as a team owner. And to celebrate his exceptional record during past years he’ll be wearing a touch of yellow on his wrist, a brand new Pelagos FXD Chrono produced in extremely limited quantities.

Fabian Cancellara has a special relationship with the most storied cycling event in the world, having led the race -- or worn the yellow jersey as cycling afficionados say -- for a total of 29 days, not to mention eight stage victories. His return to France this year as a team owner running a team that was simply an idea three years ago points to the powerful notion that progress doesn’t happen by accident. It’s a product of commitment and consistency. On his wrist is the Pelagos FXD Chrono “Yellow”, a totem to his days battling France’s most challenging roads in the brutal summer heat. You could also say it’s his lucky charm when facing challenges to come. Just 300 numbered examples of this watch will be produced. Number 7 is already spoken for, as that’s Fabian Cancellara’s signature number.

He hasn’t been back to the Tour in any form—as a spectator, team owner, or cycling legend—since 2016 when he rode in it for the last time and retired shortly after. “Every child has heroes; someone they look up to. For me, it was the Tour that produced those heroes. This was where my personal heroes were formed,” he says. “It’s more than just a bike race, it signifies to the world that you are the leader in this field,” and in this case, it’s Tudor Pro Cycling Team, led by Cancellara, that’s filling the shoes of the heroes that Fabian once looked up to all those years ago.

“The pain is temporary—we’re going to do this every day and every night and we need to die for each other. And while the pain is temporary, the memories from this race last forever,” he says. And he would know When he entered the scene in 2004 he was relatively unknown. It was the prologue race of the Tour that took his career from an emerging rider to a rising star on the international stage.

“I have my memories of the Tour. They will be with me forever. Now it’s time for the team to make their own,” he says.

Under the careful direction of Cancellara, they will do just that. The new Pelagos FXD Chrono “Yellow” made in his honor is just his lucky charm.
